My Halloween-Themed Banking Committee Question

During our banking committee meeting on the 29th, I got to ask a very important question of Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz and Deputy Governor Carolyn Wilkins: Why do Canadians spend more than Americans on Halloween? They answered my “trick or treat” question, and you can watch their response below.

Stephen Poloz on the price drop of oil

In yesterday’s banking committee meeting, I had the chance to ask Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz for his thoughts on the global decrease in the price of oil and what it means for our economy. It’s been a question on the minds of many as oil prices continue to drop, and Governor Poloz had some very interesting insights for us. You can watch his response in the video below.
