Senator Doug Black announces the Senator’s Contribution Award

Ottawa, April 28, 2017 – As part of National Volunteer Week, Senator Doug Black is proud to announce a new award recognizing those who make important volunteer contributions to their communities. The Senator’s Contribution Award will be given to two nominated individuals in each of Alberta’s cities, towns and villages.

Senator Black plans to award those selected in time for Canada’s 150th birthday on July 1st and will release the names of the winners on his website
